Campbell River is know as the "Salmon Capitol of the World. Sports fishing is something people come from all over the world to do in Campbell River. Eco tours have also become very popular whether its going whale watching or on a grizzly bear watching excursion.

Take a walk along our fabulous Seawalk, it is a great place to meet the locals. On Sundays from May to October there is a great Farmers Market down by the Fishing Pier, 5 minutes from Ocean Breeze. Fresh produce, foods, fish, baking, local crafts as well as live entertainment. After wandering the Market you can go over to the Discovery Fishing Pier and rent a fishing rod and try out your luck or have one of their decadent ice cream cones.

Mount Washington Alpine Resort is only 30 minutes away from Campbell River. If you are a biking enthusiast there is 16 trails or 35 km of single track. Just ride the chairlift up and bike down.


How about snorkeling down the Campbell River with the Salmon?? It is an experience you will never forget. The current carries you down, past the huge chinook salmon and up and over the rocks.


Campbell River has many great restaurants within 5 km of Ocean Breeze. Whether you feel like Westcoast Seafood, Thai, Vietnamese or fresh Fish and Chips, the choices are endless.
